RSRS Moped Safety Course

Are you looking to ride a moped to school, to work, or just for fun? Ride Safe, Ride Smart's Moped Safety Course is your first step to earning your Moped Operator's Permit. Our online course is available to any Minnesota resident who wants to legally ride a moped on public roads and doesn't already have a driver's license. We'll take you through the basics of riding, strategies for riding safely, and the Minnesota laws and rules that relate to moped riders. It's self-paced and takes about three hours to complete. Once you complete the course, you're eligible to take the state's knowledge and skills tests for mopeds. Traveling just got a whole lot funner!

The RSRS Moped Safety Course is approved and licensed by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and taught by Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoaches. Welcome to the ride!
